Meet Sonia Russ Schectman, who runs R Mandel Interiors, an Interior Design firm located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sonia is a highly experienced Interior Designer who specializes in residential home design. She grew up in Guatemala and lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with her husband, Jay.
Sonia is a graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City with a degree in Industrial Design and has over 7 years of working experience. She was raised in her family’s wood workshop and furniture business, which exposed her to materials, aesthetics, and most importantly, relationships.
Sonia considers both form and function when designing spaces and she uses her deep connections with suppliers and vendors to design elegant spaces for her customers.
